Barnard 252 (B252), commonly known as the Dark Dolphin Nebula, is a dark nebula located in the constellation Scorpius. It is a dense cloud of interstellar dust that absorbs visible light from behind it, creating a distinct silhouette resembling a jumping dolphin against a dense, bright star field.
