LUNAR WESTERN HEMISPHERE IN MINERAL TONES

The western hemisphere of Earth’s Moon, 95% illuminated by sunlight, featuring processing designed to highlight lunar surface colors determined by the mineral composition of each terrain. The image consists of a single panel, thanks to the use of a hybrid planetary camera with a large sensor. The video comprises 2,000 frames; the best 350 were stacked and processed to enhance the final colors.
