though solar activity has decreased somewhat, this image shows some prominences and long filaments on the solar surface. It seems that solar cycle 25 may have entered its period of lowest solar activity, but things can always change, and we might get a surprise. We’ll just have to wait and see. I was able to capture several images showing various details of the solar surface
