This photo is in the mineral color spectrum, showing bluish and iron-like tones.
These colors reflect the presence of minerals such as ilmenite, hematite, and olivine on the lunar surface.
Albedo variations between maria and highlands reveal the heterogeneous distribution of these minerals.
