Abell 85 – The Garlic Nebula

LBN 576, also known as Abell 85 or CTB-1, is an extremely diffuse supernova remnant located in the constellation Cassiopeia.
For this image, I mainly wanted to highlight the OIII signal, brought out with 30 hours of exposure using the OIII filter, in order to create a slightly different rendering, along with some work on the S channel to bring out the filaments of the gas “ball.”
