Good atmospheric conditions are prerequisites for good sky images based on the Earth’s surface. The Sun on December 29, 2025, was particularly favorable. We observe in the image the plasma prominences at the edge and filaments in the disk. We have possibly already passed the solar maximum of cycle 25, but the Sun is always active, as we can observe in the H-Alpha wavelength line. Telescope: Acuter Phoenix 40 H-Alpha.
