Sh2-129 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus, also known as the Flying Bat Nebula. Within it lies a fainter, bluish nebula called Ou4, or the Squid Nebula.
This is one of the most elusive and difficult objects to capture in astrophotography, a true challenge for any equipment.
To achieve this level of detail and bring out its shape, three colleagues and I joined forces, and in total, we dedicated over 110 hours of stacked data across several telescopes.
