LMC in DeadVlei.

When shooting astro images in the southern hemisphere, one has the opportunity to view many targets which are just not visible in the northern hemisphere. The Larger Magellanic cloud is one such southern gem shining bright in Namibia and is visible to the naked eye as a faint cloud. With an astro modded camera, its true shape emerges along with its h-alpha emissions. Juxtaposed against the petrified trees of the iconic DeadVlei, a compelling nightscape emerges…
