VdB 152 Reflection nebula in Cepheus

Also known as Barnard 175, vdB 152 is a reflection nebula.
It stretches across approximately 1,400 light-years along the northern part of the Milky Way, in the constellation Cepheus.
This photo is a composite of an LRGB SHO image to best highlight all the components of this region. Although the SII and ha are very similar, the SII adds an orange tint and volume to the nebula.

Given the quality of my suburban sky on Bortle 6, I wanted to maximize the signal on the L layer to capture as much gas as possible.
The biggest challenge was managing the noise and the very steep gradient, which reduced some of the details in the nebula.
