The Horsehead Nebula, is a small dark nebula in the constellation Orion. The nebula is located just to the south of Alnitak, the easternmost star of Orion’s Belt, and is part of the much larger Orion molecular cloud complex.
To take this photo, I spent 2 nights in the mountains under excellent skies. my aim was to be able to highlight the vastness of gas and dust in this beautiful region of Orion.
The very dark sky allowed me to obtain this result for which I am very satisfied.
I did not use any filters, just RGB.
