Blue Horsehead Nebula and Rho Ophiuchi Nebula Complex

These are the Blue Horsehead and Rho Ophiuchi Nebulas made in 50mm with 7h46min of exposure by Demison Lopes (@lopes.astro).

The lightframes were obtained between the 4th and 8th of July this year (2024) in Alto Paraíso de Goiás/GO – Brazil.

This project was planned in February/2024 where the objective was to present an image with a small focal length, but with maximum detail, capturing in a single field the Rho Ophiuchi Complex (IC4604) together with the Blue Horsehead Nebula (IC4592).

The stacking was done in DSS and the processing was carried out in Pixinsight.
