An impressive Nebula in the constellation of Ara in the Southern Hemisphere. Located about 4000 light years away. It is an emission nebula formed by large columns of gas.
Below we can see the popularly known Dragon’s Egg Nebula NGC 6164 due to its proximity to the Dragons and egg-like shape. It is an emission nebula surrounding a massive star known as HD 148937. This massive star is responsible for sculpting the nebula through its stellar winds and intense radiation.
