This photo was taken to highlight the vast nebulosities near the Tulip Nebula Sh2-101, while preserving the Nebula, which had to be very off-centre, because these nebulosities are mostly on the same side.
This wealth of nebulosity gives the image a tormented appearance and great depth.
The following objects can be seen: Sh2-101, Ngc 6857 and two open clusters if we zoom in, Ngc 6871 and Ngc 6883.
Total exposure time 33H in SHORVB from 05/04/24 to 18/06/24 in South Portugal.
FSQ 106 equipment on EQ6 Pro mount. ZWO Asi 6200MM camera.
