The Orion Nebula Complex is a rich tapestry of color and chaos. As part of that complex seen here, one can see the blue reflection nebula known as Cederblad 51, various Lynds Dark Nebula such as LDN 1577, 1580, 1582 and 1583, all of which swim in the red hydrogen gases of Barnard 225. Under the dark skies of Chile, where my telescope is installed, images such as these resolve themselves in great detail….a fast scope and a cmos camera of course are important parts of the puzzle that is deep sky astrophotography…..
