M64 in “true colors” + IFN

I have always been very surprised to see that on this galaxy M64, the colors vary enormously from one image to another: there are about as many variations as there are images made, whatever the exposure times, materials and experiences of the astrophotographers!

From several sources and astrophysical data, I have tried to obtain for this image the most faithful calibration possible to reality: we can see that M64 is much less “blue” in reality than what we often see!
