Colors of the Universe

After 5 failed attempts, one of which took 21 hours, I finally managed to put together this panorama composed of 4 images and 6h of total exposure. The final image is 10315×6503, or 67MP, using a 18MP Canon 60D sensor. In the image is possible to see our Milky Way in great detail, revealing many nebulae. The red nebulae are regions of high hydrogen concentration, such as the Cat’s Paw and Lobster nebulae, which are around in the center of the image. It is also possible to visualize several constellations, such as Scorpio, which appears entirely in the image.
