IC 1396 The SHO Goddess in Cepheus

Many of my friends wonder why this is called the elephant trunk nebula; they rather see some kind of Greek Goddess. For the processing I tried to inspire myself from the iconic pillars of creation picture from the HST, in particular that yellow glow around the nebula;
The picture was taken in Metz; France, a city with Bortle 7 to 8 light pollution scale, on 18 and 21st of April 2022.

– Esprit 100ED f5.5 refractor
– ZWO Asi2600MM imaging camera
– Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 pro mount
