NGC 6772 is a small (81 arc seconds) 14th magnitude ancient bipolar planetary nebula in the constellation Aquila. It is approximately 4000 light years from Earth and was discovered by William Herschel on 21 Juy 1784. I was pleased to manage to capture the rarely-seen outer Ha shell.
