Mars picture taken from Calern Observatory (South of France) with one of the 1-meter telescope C2PU. Great seeing during this night has allowed us to make this Ir-RGB picture which is deemed being one of the most resolved picture of Mars taken from the ground.
Instruments used were mainly the 1-m Cassegrain telescope with 24.5 meters focal length, ZWO ASI 290MM and 174MC cameras and atmospheric dispersion corrector. The image processing were done using Autostakkert, Astrosurface and Winjupos software. The latest one has been used to apply the de-rotation technique between the different acquired pictures that greatly improved the result.
