Rocking Cygnus

“Rocking Cygnus”

The shooting with my buddy benjaminbarakat at Creux du Van took longer than expected because we were able to find good compositions for the winter sky in several directions. Initially, we just planned for Orion shots, but when we looked in the other direction, we just had to capture this side as well.

This image shows beautiful Cygnus over the rock amphitheater. The North America Nebula and the Sadr Region make Cygnus very photogenic. Higher in the sky, there is another red nebula, the Elephant Trunk Nebula, which already belongs to Cepheus and from the top of the frame, the Andromeda Galaxy seemingly enjoys the sight as well.
